On December 25 of this year, the Plenum of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region was held.

On December 24 of this year, the Presidium of the Sughd Province Trade Unions Council was held. The Presidium addressed several issues, including the convening of the Plenum of the Sughd Province Trade Unions Council, approval of the Council's work plan for the first half of 2026, approval of the Sughd Province Trade Unions Council's budget for 2026, nomination of sectoral committees to the Council's "Honorary Board," summary of the provincial contest "Establishment of New Trade Union Organizations," and other matters.

Today, the staff of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region jointly watched the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan entitled “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Country.”

On December 12 of this year, under the chairmanship of the Head of the Regional Council of Trade Unions, Sharifullo Bobojon Abdullozoda, a supervisory meeting of labour protection inspectors and inspectors for the protection of labour rights of the regional trade unions was held.

    Every year worldwide, from 25 November to 10 December, the campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” is held.

     On 9 December of the current year, a working meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Council, Sharifullo Abdullozoda, with the participation of responsible staff of the Council and chairpersons of regional sectoral committees.

   Yesterday, training sessions for the advanced professional development course began with the participation of employees from HR departments of enterprises and institutions in the sectors of industry, construction, housing and communal services, and culture.

   To improve legal awareness, enhance knowledge, and develop the professional skills of employees and labor protection officers in organizations and institutions, the Council of Trade Unions of the region regularly undertakes relevant measures.

  It is a great pride that in our beloved country, especially under the wise policy of the respected Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, honoring the labor of outstanding figures in various economic and social sectors has become a cherished tradition.

On the initiative of the Trade Union Council of the region, on November 14 of this year, a festive gathering dedicated to the President’s Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Faculty of Philology of Khujand State University.

 A festive event dedicated to the professional holiday — “Trade Union Day – October 24” — was held in the hall of the Regional Council of Trade Unions. The event brought together veterans of the field, activists, guests, and trade union employees from all cities and districts of the region.
