Ensuring national unity, territorial integrity, and the cohesion of our beloved country is undoubtedly one of the greatest political and social achievements of the Independence period.

On June 15, 2026, the first shift of the “Shokhin” Recreation Camp in Guliston city officially commenced. In this first shift, 110 children and adolescents from the Commonwealth of Independent States, including the Republics of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, and Turkmenistan, arrived.

On June 17 of the current year, a meeting of the “Summer–2026” task force was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Trade Union Council of the Sughd Region, Sharifullo Abdullozoda.

Within the framework of the work plan of the Trade Union Council of the Sughd Region, practical and methodological assistance was provided to organizations and institutions in the city of Istaravshan, and the districts of Mastchoh and Spitamen by the responsible staff of the Council.

      On June 11, 2026, the Reporting and Election Conference of the Trade Union Committee of Transport and Road Economy Workers of Sughd Region was held in the conference hall of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region.

       Another session of the retraining and professional development course under the “Occupational Safety and Health” program was conducted.

      Yesterday, for the purpose of reviewing the preparations for the organization and implementation of summer recreation programs for children and adolescents in 2026, Zafar Murtazokhon Ismoilzoda, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, and Sharifullo Abdullozoda, Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region, visited several out-of-town summer camps in the region.

    On June 2, 2026, a working meeting was held in the conference hall of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions under the chairmanship of Sharifullo Abdullozoda, Chairman of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions, with the participation of the Council’s responsible staff members and chairpersons of the regional sectoral trade union committees.

    Every year, on June 1, the world celebrates International Children’s Day. This special occasion is dedicated to protecting the rights and interests of children, creating favorable conditions for their education and upbringing, and ensuring a достойное and happy life for every child.

 On May 29, 2026, a meeting of the regional Summer-2026 Coordination Headquarters on the organization of summer recreation for children and adolescents was held in the conference hall of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Headquarters, Deputy Chairperson of Sughd Region, Zaynura Azimi.

 Within the framework of the Action Plan of the Trade Union Council of Sughd Region, on May 22 of this year, a roundtable discussion entitled “The Role of Youth in the Development of the Trade Union Movement” was held in celebration of the Youth Day of Tajikistan, with the participation of active youth members of trade unions, organizations, and institutions.

Today, young people, as an active segment of society and a constructive force of the state, play an important role in all spheres of public life. In the context of globalization and the rapid development of modern technologies, society needs educated, patriotic, proactive young people with a modern worldview. It is precisely the youth who, through their knowledge, skills, strong sense of responsibility, and devotion to the Motherland, can make a significant contribution to the progress of the state and society.
