HOLDING OF A WORKING MEETING

     On 9 December of the current year, a working meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Council, Sharifullo Abdullozoda, with the participation of responsible staff of the Council and chairpersons of regional sectoral committees.

  During the meeting, the progress of implementation of Protocol No. 6 of the meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated 22 July 2025 within the member organizations of the Council was reviewed. In addition, issues related to the execution of supervisory documents, preparation for the winter season, economical use of electricity, executive discipline, as well as the progress of subscriptions to national, local, and sectoral newspapers for 2026 were discussed.

     In the course of the meeting, the Chairman of the Council questioned the responsible officials on the matters under consideration and gave instructions on expanding advocacy and awareness-raising activities aimed at establishing new primary trade union organizations in enterprises and institutions where trade unions are not yet present. He also emphasized the importance of high-quality performance of official duties in accordance with job descriptions, as well as the accurate and timely submission of reports and information within the established deadlines.

     Furthermore, expressing his views on concluding 2025 with strong labor performance indicators, he stressed that the decisions and instructions of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan must be implemented efficiently and on time. Specific tasks were assigned to the responsible officials to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
