2024 - THE YEAR OF SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP

On 25.01.2024, a wide-ranging working session on the state of social partnership in the region was held in the hall of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region Anvar Yaqubi.

   At the meeting, the Chairman of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Region, leaders and representatives of regional structures, including the Department of Economy and Trade of the Region, the Department of Industry, the Head of the Statistical Agency in Sughd Region, the Tax Department of Sughd Region, the Department of State Control Services in the Field of Labor, Migration and Employment , the Department of Social Insurance and Pension Agency in Sughd Region, the Head of the Labor and Employment Agency in the region and all the cities and districts of the region, the heads of the sectoral committee of trade unions of the region, the heads of the Coordination Council of Trade Unions in cities and districts and other responsible persons participated. Anvar Yakubi opened the meeting and noted that stable economic and social development has been ensured in the region, and the macro-economic indicators of the region are increasing. In the region in 2023, progress was made in all areas.

      He expressed that, regardless of this, we need to intensify our activities this year for the further development of the economy and the establishment of social partnership in the region.

    Then, Shermuhammad Nadiri - Head of the Labor and Employment Agency spoke about the activities in the direction of labor relations and the implementation of the "State Program for the Promotion of Public Employment in the Sughd Region" others expressed their opinion.

Sharifullo Abdullozoda - Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Region spoke about the results of the implementation of the Regional Agreement between the executive bodies of the Sughd Region, the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region and the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Sughd Region for the years 2021-2023, the implementation of the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, ensuring safety labor, establishment of safe workplaces, analysis of the causes and factors of the emergence of informal employment and its consequences, the course of retraining and professional development of employees responsible for labor protection and in organizations and institutions of the region.

    Then, Anwar Yakubi questioned the officials of the sector about existing shortcomings and their elimination, and gave specific instructions for their elimination. He also gave specific instructions on the establishment of a working group by the relevant structures of the region and verification of the implementation of the provisions of the Labor Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on labor relations and the state of social partnership, as well as taking measures to eliminate existing deficiencies.

 With this, the work of the meeting was completed.
