REGIONAL COMMITTEE PLENUM HELD

This morning, a Plenum of the Trade Union Committee of Employees of the Trade Sector, Consumer Cooperation and Private Enterprises of Sughd Region was held in the small conference hall of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region.

      The Plenum was attended by Sharifullo Abdullozoda, Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region, members of the Plenum, responsible staff members, and active representatives of regional trade unions.

       The agenda of the Plenum included three issues:

– discussion of the Address of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan;

– review of the performance of the Trade Union Committee of Employees of the Trade Sector, Consumer Cooperation and Private Enterprises of Sughd Region and tasks for 2026;

– organizational matters.

        The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Regional Committee, I. Buzurokov, who introduced the agenda and gave the floor to the Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region, Sh. Abdullozoda.

        Sharifullo Abdullozoda delivered a report on the key provisions of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

         Subsequently, the Chairman of the Committee, I.A. Buzurokov, presented a report on the results of the Committee’s activities in 2025, providing an overview of the work carried out during the reporting period.

Based on the issues discussed, relevant resolutions were adopted.

         The organizational issue was then considered, and due to his transfer to another position, I.A. Buzurokov was relieved of his duties as Chairman of the Committee.

          In coordination with the leadership of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, Farhod Mirzokhotamovich Kholmirzoev was elected Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Employees of the Trade Sector, Consumer Cooperation and Private Enterprises of Sughd Region.

The Plenum concluded its work thereafter.
