FESTIVE EVENT DEDICATED TO TRADE UNION DAY

     A festive event dedicated to the professional holiday "Day of trade unions - October 24" was held in the hall of the Council of trade unions of the region. This event was attended by industry veterans, activists, guests and employees of regional trade unions from all cities and districts.

   The chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Maliksho Nematzoda and the deputy chairman of the region Zahidzoda Davroni Abdukadir took part in it.

    Sharifullo Abdullozoda - Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region congratulated the participants on the Day of Trade Unions and emphasized that it was with the initiative and support of the great leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, that every year October, 24 is the "Day of Trade Unions of Tajikistan" will be celebrated.  He also expressed his opinion on the activity of regional trade unions.

    Afterwards, the deputy chairman of the region Zahidzoda Davron congratulated all the participants on behalf of the chairman of the region Mr. Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and all the members of the trade unions of the region. He also spoke about the cooperation of the executive body of the state power of the Sughd region with the regional trade union council and the achievements of the regional trade unions in the direction of implementing the social policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and protecting the social and economic interests of workers.

    After, the head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, Maliksho Nematzoda, spoke and congratulated the audience on the "Day of Trade Unions of Tajikistan", and also expressed that today the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, of which the Regional Trade Union Council is considered, is one of the organizations It is considered an influential public institution of the country and an integral part of the civil society. Trade unions of Sughd region have achieved significant achievements in recent years.

    Above-named,  emphasized that every year the trade union of the region adapts its activities to modern times, strives to protect the interests and rights of its members, and constantly plays a worthy role in the implementation of the social and economic goals of the state.

    At the end of the event, a number of heads of organizations, enterprises and activists, who made a valuable contribution to the rise of the trade union movement, were appreciated and awarded with the medal "For social partnership", badge "Trade union activist", certificates of honor of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan and the Council of Trade Unions of Sughd Region and  with souvenirs. Also, the winners of the regional competitions, which were concluded on September 20 of this year, were awarded with diplomas and money.

    Also, a number of veterans of regional Trade Unions were presented with souvenirs of the Chairman of Sughd Region by Deputy Chairman of the Region Zahidzoda Davroni Abdukadir.
