Yesterday, in the Council of trade unions of the region, a ceremonial event dedicated to Mother's Day was held with the participation of veterans, activists and employees of the light and textile industry.

    The Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the region Sharifullo Abdullozoda congratulated women on Mother's Day and stated that the contribution of women in the life of our society is very great. Today, our women and mothers make a valuable contribution to the implementation of the constructive goals of the state and government, the creation of a healthy family and the education of the future generation of the nation. Their contribution to the development and rise of the trade union movement is also very significant.

     Then, in her speech, the head of the Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Light Industry and Textile Workers - Temurova Tursunoy Nasimovna assessed the contribution of women and girls in the development of various sectors of the national economy as significant.

     Former labor activist Mahfirat Dadobaeva expressed her opinion on the activities of women in the development of light industry and expressed her gratitude for the tribute to women's work.
