DEVELOPMENT OF COOPERATION AND EXPANSION OF FRIENDSHIP

Yesterday, at the invitation of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region Sharifullo Abdullozoda made a business trip to the city of Yekaterinburg.

The first cordial and friendly meeting of the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation Andrey Leonidovich Vetluzhsky and the Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region Sharifullo Abdullozoda Bobojon was held in the building of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region. As part of the visit, Abdullozoda Sh.B. met with the heads of the sectoral committees and the heads of the trade union sub-structures of the Sverdlovsk Region. At this meeting, they discussed various areas of bilateral activity of the trade union, and determined the priority areas of activity. Also, at this meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Trade Union Federation of Sverdlovsk Region and the Trade Union Council of Sughd Region.

      On the second day of his working visit, Sh. Abdullozoda held a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the trade union movement of the Sverdlovsk region, with the participation of the leadership of the Sverdlovsk region and the city of Yekaterinburg, the leadership of state institutions, and more than 500 members of the trade unions of the Sverdlovsk region participated. The Chairman of the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region, Sharifullo Abdullozoda Bobojan, addressed the guests and expressed his views on the far-sighted measures of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, in strengthening the friendship of two friendly and brotherly peoples. The greeting and message of the head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, Maliksho Nematzoda, was delivered to the audience. Mavsuf mentioned that this working visit of the trade union delegation of Sughd region takes place in the light of economic and social cooperation between Sughd and Sverdlovsk regions, headed by the Chairman of Sughd Region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and the Chairman of Sverdlovsk Region Kuivashev Yevgeny Vladimirovich. In his speech, he congratulated those present on the 106th anniversary of the establishment of the trade union movement of the Sverdlovsk region and expressed hope that the bilateral beneficial cooperation of the trade unions of the Sverdlovsk and Sughd regions will expand further. Movsuf handed over a commemorative gift from the members of trade unions of the Sughd region to the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation Andrey Leonidovich Vetluzhsky.

      On the second afternoon, the Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Yekaterinburg Zafar Sayidzoda met with the leaders of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk Region of the Russian Federation Andrey Vetluzhsky, Sharifullo Abdullozoda, the head of the Council of Trade Unions of the Sughd Region. Representatives of the Tajik diaspora in Sverdlovsk region also participated in this meeting. During the meeting, interesting proposals and requests were made regarding the important issues of cooperation between the consulate of Tajikistan and the trade unions of Sverdlovsk and Sughd regions. It was also noted during the meeting that according to the agreement signed on the bilateral cooperation of the trade unions of Sverdlovsk region and Sughd region, the economic and social interests of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in the regions of Sverdlovsk region and the citizens of the Russian Federation in the regions of Sughd region will be further protected by the trade unions of these regions. Also, within the scope of cooperation of trade unions, interesting programs have been launched in the welfare of immigrants, protection of their rights, organization of cultural and creative trips of intellectuals and artists, promotion of friendship.       On the third day of the trip, the Sughd region trade union representatives got acquainted with the activities of the retraining and professional development center of the Sverdlovsk region trade union federation, and further cooperation plans between the center and the Sughd region trade union were discussed and adopted.

      Then they visited the Scientific-Research Institute "Labor Protection" of the Federation of Trade Unions of Russia located in the city of Yekaterenburg and got to know its activities closely. In the meeting with the management of this university, the parties agreed to cooperate in the direction of retraining, raising the level of specialization, knowledge and skills of the responsible employees of the trade union of Sughd region.

      In the afternoon, the working visit of the trade union delegation of Sughd region continued in the city of Asbest, Sverdlovsk region. At the meeting with the mayor of the city of Asbest Tikhonova Natalya Robertovna, an opinion was expressed on the activities of the city's enterprises and organizations and the trade union of these enterprises in the direction of protecting the social interests of employees.

      During the conversation, the activities of Tajik citizens in the organizations and institutions of Asbest, protection of social and economic interests of Tajik citizens and their family members were also discussed. Then a meeting of the Chairman of the Trade Union Council of the Sughd region with citizens of Tajikistan, who are active in the organizations and institutions of the city of Asbest, was held. It became clear that a very large number of Tajik citizens work in various fields of economy and social life of the city. During the meeting, the participants expressed their opinion on the areas of activity, socio-economic benefits of workers, their success and other relevant issues, and determined the further areas of activity. In the end, on behalf of the Tajik diaspora in the city of Asbest, they expressed their gratitude to the Trade Unions of Tajikistan, which implement the instructions of the great leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, regarding the social policy of the Government of Tajikistan.

     Also, the delegation of the trade union of Sughd region took part in the ceremonial event of the city of Asbest dedicated to the "Day of trade unions of Sverdlovsk region" and gave a speech. During the meeting with the trade unions of the city of Asbest, they agreed that the trade unions of the city of Asbest will further protect the social interests of the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, who work in the city of Asbest.
